Information About me
I'm a student in Boston, MA, studying Computer Science and Linguistics at Northeastern University.
I build software, robots, and fantasy worlds.
I'm an RL and neuromechanics researcher at Northeastern's Neuromechanics of Movement Lab under Professor Seungmoon Song.
I recently co-founded an applied math startup called Sapientia Research with Yoyo Yuan. We're building a general-purpose biocomputing architecture.
I'm a certified scuba diver, have been playing the piano for over a dozen years, and am a published computational linguistics researcher.
I've traveled to over 30 countries (my favorites so far are Greece, Croatia, Vietnam, and Thailand).
In my free time, I'm a worldbuilder, visual novel enthusiast, and I grow cherry blossom bonsai in my dorm.
I love cooking and baking, inspired by my mom, who is a Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef.

2019
Coding for the First Time in Python - Grade 7
This was my first real introduction to programming in general, and Python still remains my language of choice (when I can't use Nim because nobody uses it for real-world projects).
2020 - 2023
Hackathon Spree! - Greenwood High
Participated in a bunch of hackathons online and at school. Won my high school's hackathon twice and attended MLH Global Hack Weeks.
2021 - Present
Freelancing and Open-Source
Started a web development and design agency for small businesses in Bangalore. Also began regularly contributing to open-source projects.
2023
Interest in Robotics - RoboCup Junior
My interest in robotics was sparked when I signed up for a competition my school attends every year, called RoboCup. It's an international competition with over 25,000 participants worldwide and over 50 countries. My team won 1st place in the India round and attended the international round held in Bordeaux, France, in July 2023, representing India!

High School Graduation and Future Plans - Northeastern University
Graduated high school in India with a 1550 SAT score. Moved to Boston to study Computer Science and Linguistics at Northeastern University.

Research at Quantum Photonics Lab - Northeastern University
Researching photonic processors and optical neural networks at Northeastern's Experimental Quantum Photonics Lab. Achieved an 80× speedup of their experimental pipeline.

Learning Reinforcement Learning as a preliminary to neuromechanics research at Northeastern's Neuromechanics of Movement Lab under Professor Seungmoon Song.

Co-founding Sapientia Research - Applied Math Startup
Working with Yoyo Yuan on developing a fully homomorphic encryption platform for neuroscience labs to securely share datasets.

Creating a Domain-Specific Programming Language - Linguistic Analysis
Designing a programming language tailored for linguistic analysis, featuring integrated phonology tools, morphological analysis engine, syntax tree generator, semantic analysis features, corpus management, multiscript support, TTS and automatic speech recognition, lexical database integration, statistical and ML tools, pragmatics and discourse modules, an extensible plugin architecture, and VS Code extension support.
